Alabama QB Tua Tagovailoa (hip) participated in an hour-long workout with 55 scripted passes and another 20 throws in a ‘dynamic drill setting’ at a private Alabama gym Thursday, April 9. Fewer than 10 people were in attendance, and all of the necessary safety guidelines in relation to COVID-19 were followed. Tagovailoa’s representatives said they will distribute the tape to all 32 NFL teams.
Footballguys View: Tagovailoa’s agent, the great Leigh Steinberg, said that health concerns about his client were seriously overblown. Things seem to be well on track for the young passer as he comes back from the hip surgery that ended his college career. We think the Dolphins will do whatever it takes to get him in the first round, and we fully believe that Tagovailoa is going to be a top-5 pick in the 2020 NFL draft.
