Green Bay Packers running backs coach Alex Van Pelt could take over as the quarterbacks coach next season if quarterbacks coach Ben McAdoo does not return.

Footballguys View: Van Pelt was a pro quarterback himself, playing 10 years for three different teams (primarily the Bills). Having him as a running backs coach has always been a head scratcher. It makes more sense if he was in charge of the quarterbacks.
