Green Bay Packers TE Andrew Quarless could have a full-time role as the starting tight end if the team doesn’t re-sign TE Jermichael Finley. Quarless drew interest from seven other teams on the open market before re-signing with the Packers. Quarless posted career highs in catches (32), yards (312) and touchdowns (two) in 2013 and became the starter after Finley was injured Oct. 20.
Footballguys View: We’ll see if the team gets Owen Daniels, but Quarless showed he could step up before, so this won’t be a shock. You have to assume he likes his chances since he came back to Green Bay.
