Green Bay Packers head coach Mike McCarthy said he is looking forward to seeing RB DuJuan Harris (knee) practice because he considers Harris the team’s starting running back. ‘I’m excited to see when DuJuan Harris comes back, because I view him as our starter,’ McCarthy said. ‘I want him to get back in there and earn it like he did all of last year. He made an impact in our offense.’
Footballguys View: The Packers made two moves in the draft to select Eddie Lacy (Alabama) and Johnathan Franklin (UCLA) to compete for the starting job. The team has shown the willingness to feature one back but who that is at this point is a mystery. Harris is currently on the Physically Unable to Perform list and expected to miss another week or two.
