Green Bay Packers RB Eddie Lacy (ankle) ran publicly for the first time — albeit in a pool during a rehab session at the University of Alabama — since having ankle surgery a few months ago Thursday, Feb. 23.

Footballguys View: Lacy is a free agent, and the market should be lukewarm for his services. Weight problems and durability issues will keep his price low. He may not have to sign a “prove it” deal, but it’s not like Lacy is going to break the bank on the open market.
