Green Bay Packers WR Jeff Janis has been receiving first-team repetitions with the kickoff return team. That could change when WR Ty Montgomery (ankle) returns, but Ryan Wood of the Green Bay Press-Gazette doesn’t believe it will.

Footballguys View: Janis has the measurables but just can get the most out of his talent. The Packers are clearly trying to find a role for him as he figures it out but he’s got to be running short on chances with head coach Mike McCarthy. As it stands, he won’t be on any but the deepest rosters.
