Green Bay Packers WR Ty Montgomery (ankle) said he does not have a definite timetable for his return to practice but does say that his ankle feels great. Montgomery will have to compete for a roster spot when he is activated from the Physically Unable to Perform list.
Footballguys View: A high-ankle sprain knocked Montgomery’s rookie season off track last year. This season, Montgomery is in the mix for the Packers No.3 WR job behind Jordy Nelson and Randall Cobb. Jeff Janis, Davante Adams and Jared Abbrederis are all vying for the position as well. This injury puts Montgomery behind those others at this time.
