Carolina Panthers QB Cam Newton greatly improved his passing in the second half of the regular season. From Week 9 onward, Newton completed 65.9% of his passes, compared to just 58.8% before Week 9. From Week 9 onward he also improved his yards per attempt and touchdown to interception ratio, among other things.
Footballguys View: Newton had a MVP caliber season, especially in the second half. He’s a great start this week even against a tough Arizona secondary, and his ability with his legs-as well as his size when running the ball-add to the value. Start him with no worries this weekend.
