Carolina Panthers QB Cam Newton (foot) is still wearing a walking boot as a precaution and did not participate in practice Saturday, Aug. 24, according to head coach Ron Rivera. Newton could be at least a limited participant in practice Monday, Aug. 26, if he does not have any setbacks, according to a source.
