Carolina Panthers TE Greg Olsen has agreed to restructure his contract, which has created $2.4 million in salary cap space.

Our View: He was scheduled to make $3.75 million in 2013 but will now make a base salary of $750,000 and the $3 million becomes an option bonus. The Panthers were over the cap more than any other team in the league. This move helps free some (but not all) of the room needed.
