Carolina Panthers QB Steve Smith (knee) has done most of his rehab work indoors, but head coach Ron Rivera said Friday, Jan. 3, that he hopes to have Smith on the field next week and playing in the Divisional Round playoff game Sunday, Jan. 12. Smith has been doing treadmill, elliptical and underwater treadmill work, but he has not yet said he will be ready for the playoff game.
