Carolina Panthers DE Kawann Short (shoulder) was placed on the Reserve/Injured list Tuesday, Oct. 1, with a partially torn rotator cuff. Short will have surgery and miss the rest of the season. DE Bryan Cox Jr. was signed to the active roster.
