Minnesota Vikings WR Laquon Treadwell is expected to be waived Saturday, Aug. 31, and could be pursued by the Carolina Panthers because of his connection with offensive coordinator Norv Turner, in the opinion of Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk.com. Turner was the offensive coordinator for the Vikings when Treadwell was drafted.
