Free-agent RB Adrian Peterson (Vikings) is scheduled to meet with the New England Patriots Monday, April 3, according to sources.
Footballguys View: The Patriots are likely kicking the tires on the veteran running back. They have not re-signed free agent LeGarrette Blount and could see Peterson as a replacement. After a career high 1,161 rushing yards and 18 rushing touchdowns, Blount likely wants top dollar…a mark the Patriots are unlikely to pay. Peterson may have wanted top dollar too earlier this offseason, but his cool market could be changing his asking price.
