The New England Patriots are hoping to re-sign CB Aqib Talib to a team-friendly deal this offseason in hopes that he will agree to it. There is no chance the team will use the franchise tag on Talib because of the cost in the opinion of Jeff Howe of The Boston Herald. The deal will likely be between three and four years.
