The New England Patriots signed undrafted free-agent WR Jeremy Johnson (Southern Methodist) to an undisclosed deal. Per NFL rules, undrafted free-agent deals are for three years.

Footballguys View: The 12th wide receiver for the Patriots, Johnson would be an unlikely survivor come the end of August. He’s got decent speed and OK hands, but there are just too many receivers ahead of him for Johnson to have an impact.
