The New England Patriots have acquired RB LeGarrette Blount from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for RB Jeff Demps and a seventh-round draft choice.

Our View: If Blount can play consistently, Stevan Ridley could be the odd man out. Blount flashed at times in 2012 and could be productive addition to the short yardage offense.
