New England Patriots OT Nate Solder (hamstring) had his left hamstring checked out by trainers in the preseason finale against the New York Giants Thursday, Sept. 1.

Footballguys View: The last thing this line needs is another injury with Sebastian Vollmer out. Since rookie Joe Thuney is next to Solder, the injury would be doubly bad as the team was hoping Solder could help Thuney get through the early rough games a rookie guard often has as he adjusts to the NFL.
