New England Patriots RB Sony Michel is the first rookie running ever to run for at least 100 yards and two touchdowns in a championship game.

Footballguys View: The Patriots had the discipline to stay with the rushing attack against the Chiefs. Getting Michel 29 carries helped keep the clock moving and Patrick Mahomes on the sideline. Michel’s long carry was only 11 yards, but he managed to blast his way to 113 yards and those two scores. We’ll see what he does in the Super Bowl in two weeks.
