Updating a previous report, the New England Patriots agreed to trade a 2018 third-round pick (No. 95 overall) in exchange for San Francisco 49ers OL Trent Brown and a 2018 fifth-round pick (No. 143 overall) on Friday, April 27. The deal is pending a physical.

Footballguys View: The Niners were in position to do this in part because of the Mike Mcglinchey pick Thursday night and the Patriots are always looking to inject new blood (from an organizational standpoint). Brown should bring some needed experience to the Patriots line.
