Oakland Raiders head coach Dennis Allen fired back Tuesday, Dec. 24, about the claims of QB Terrelle Pryor’s agent, who said Monday, Dec. 23, that the coach is setting the quarterback up to fail by starting him in Week 17 against the Denver Broncos. ‘Well, first is, I’d say that’s the stupidest thing I’ve ever frickin’ heard,’ Allen said. ‘No coach in their right mind – this isn’t ‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.’ This isn’t made-for-TV drama. This is football, and we make our football decisions based solely on that. Nothing other than that.’
Footballguys View: The team wants to see Pryor back in action as the starter. They’re not “setting him up to fail” against the Broncos. It’s ludicrous to think otherwise.
