Oakland Raiders QB Matt McGloin has been taking some reps away from QB Tyler Wilson because McGloin as performed well during training camp to this point. Offensive coordinator Greg Olson said it is a great competition for the No. 3 quarterback job but there is a long way to go.

Footballguys View: Tyler Wilson has lots of mental toughness and courage, but his arm strength is lacking, and apparently his practice performance is too. That he is embroiled in a battle with McGloin is a terrible sign of where Wilson is at in his development right now.
