Raiders | Terrelle Pryor improving

Oakland Raiders QB Terrelle Pryor has improved his accuracy and has been making big plays during training camp. Offensive coordinator Greg Olson said Pryor is waiting inside the pocket too long at times and is not using his athleticism to run when he has the opportunity. Olson said the team will use Pryor in the red zone this season and indicated the team may use the read option.

Footballguys View: Pryor has pulled away from Tyler Wilson as the #2 quarterback for the Raiders. If Matt Flynn disappoints, Pryor will get a look, and if he is even competent as a passer, that will equal near-QB1 fantasy numbers because Pryor is a formidable running quarterback. We’re looking forward to evaluating his throwing ability to see if it has truly improved in the preseason.
