Free-agent QB Blake Bortles (Jaguars) agreed to terms on a one-year contract with the Los Angeles Rams Monday, March 18. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Footballguys View: The Rams needed a backup quarterback to Jared Goff since Sean Mannion was a free agent. This is an interesting destination for Bortles, a first-round disappointment of the Jaguars. If he can’t make plays with head coach Sean McVay then he’s unlikely to make plays anywhere.
