St. Louis Rams OG Greg Robinson, the No. 2 overall pick in this year’s draft, is frustrated that he’s not making much progress in his transition from left tackle to starting left guard this offseason. ‘I didn’t know what to expect, honestly,’ Robinson said. ‘I put a lot of pressure on myself because I like to challenge myself. It’s something I want to do and just stand out to the coaches and let them be comfortable with their choice.’ Robinson hasn’t played the guard spot since high school. Offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer, however, is pleased with Robinson’s progress and knows the transition won’t come overnight. Robinson will focus more on his technique as a pass protector, the area of his game most in need of work, during training camp.
