The St. Louis Rams have expressed interest in Pittsburgh QB Tom Savage leading up to the 2014 NFL Draft. The team is considering scheduling a visit as well as a private workout with Savage.

Footballguys View: Savage has been getting some positive buzz lately since his pro day. He’s your classic pocket passer with a strong arm. However, he’s bounced around college football before finding a home for one season at Pitt. Earlier in his college career, Savage couldn’t hang onto the starting job at Rutgers. His pocket presence is shaky, and he’s inconsistent with his accuracy. Oh yeah, and don’t ask him to make plays/throws on the run–it’s not pretty.
