St. Louis Rams QB Sam Bradford (knee) said he’s set to have surgery on the torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee but waited two weeks for the swelling in his knee to go down. He will have his knee fixed Tuesday, Nov. 5, and the procedure will be performed by Dr. James Andrews. ‘I’m not expecting it to be easy,’ Bradford said. ‘I know it’s going to be tough, but I’m going to do everything I can to get better every day. The best thing to do is just take it day by day and try to get better every day and in the end, when I’m ready to go, I’ll be ready to go.’
Footballguys View: Bradford won’t put a timetable on his return. Our Dr. Jene Bramel says the fact that he has a clean tear of the ACL should help make Bradford’s recovery quicker.
