St. Louis Rams QB Sam Bradford (knee) is expected to be ready when the team starts minicamp this week. OT Jake Long (knee) won’t be. However, both are in line to start the first regular-season contest.
Footballguys View: Getting Bradford back will be huge for the Rams. He’s in a make-or-break season this year, and Bradford needs to stay healthy to play up to his potential or the team is going to start looking elsewhere for a starting quarterback. Something that could greatly help Bradford’s chances at productivity is having Jake Long as his blind-side protector. We’re likely to see Long eased back in during training camp.
