Baltimore Ravens TE Benjamin Watson (Achilles’) and TE Darren Waller (undisclosed) were back at practice Tuesday, June 13.
Footballguys View: With Dennis Pitta gone, the Ravens need one of their tight ends to emerge. That could very well be Watson. A free agent addition in 2016, Watson’s season was cut short by this Achilles’ injury. Those aren’t as devastating as they used to be, and Watson could be the lead tight end for the Ravens. He had 74 receptions, 825 yards, and 7 touchdowns in 2015 with the Saints but should not produce at that level in 2017. If healthy, projecting him for around 35 catches is more accurate.
