The Washington Redskins are reaching out to unrestricted free-agent WR Steve Smith (Panthers).

Footballguys View: They just cut Santana Moss, but Smith has a lot more in the tank and Washington has a need. Is he a good fit for RG3 though? He got along well with Cam Newton by all accounts, but RG3 is another level of Alpha Male. These two would either love each other or kill each other.
