Washington Redskins QB Robert Griffin III’s (knee) father said Griffin could receive clearance to start running on a field in the next week. Griffin has been running in a pool as well as on a treadmill.

Our View: More good news from the Griffin camp here. He’s right on track to return for the start of the regular season but nothing is guaranteed at this point.
