Redskins | Robert Griffin understands patience

Washington Redskins QB Robert Griffin III (knee) said Tuesday, July 30, that he understands why the team is limiting his participation in practice early in training camp. ‘I mean, I say jokingly that I have to be compliant,’ Griffin said. ‘You know, (head coach Mike Shanahan) isn’t gonna let me go out there and do that kind of stuff. I don’t feel like I’m pushing it, or if I was to do it, that I’d be pushing myself or my leg. I feel like I’m ready for that, but we’re being real cautious right now and taking it slow.’
