Saints | Alvin Kamara makes history

New Orleans Saints RB Alvin Kamara became just the second running back ever to catch at least 11 passes in a conference championship game. San Francisco 49ers RB Jerick McKinnon caught 11 passes in the NFC Championship game last year with the Minnesota Vikings.

Footballguys View: Kamara and McKinnon’s teams both lost in these championship games where they caught 11 passes. The Saints are in a Super Bowl window and they’ll try to get back to the NFC Championship Game (and to the Super Bowl) with Kamara leading the way in the backfield. Mark Ingram is set to be a free agent in 2019 and may not stick with the Saints.
