New Orleans Saints QB Drew Brees saw his streak of 54-consecutive games of throwing a touchdown pass come to an end Thursday, Nov. 29, against the Atlanta Falcons. Brees threw 50 times, connecting on 28 of them, and passed for 341 yards, but failed to put one into the end zone. He did hit RB Darren Sproles for a passing touchdown, but the play was flagged for offensive pass interference on TE Jimmy Graham. Brees threw five interceptions during the game, which was a career high. Following the game, Brees said he has to hold himself accountable for the team’s losses the past two weeks.
