New Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton said QB Drew Brees’ performance this season was not affected by Payton’s absence due to suspension.

Our View: It certainly didn’t make Brees any better. He had his lowest completion percentage since 2003 and the second highest interception total of his career. He should improve his quality of play this year, even if his already lofty fantasy stats don’t have much room to grow.
