The New Orleans Saints re-signed WR Joe Morgan to an undisclosed one-year deal Tuesday, March 18.

Footballguys View: Morgan was set to come on as the #3 receiver in the offense and main deep threat in the Saints offense, before tearing his ACL in training camp last year. They bet that he wouldn’t be signed in free agency instead of offering the restricted free agent a second-round tender, and they were correct. He’ll be a good sleeper if 2013 fifth-round pick Kenny Stills stumbles.
