New Orleans Saints WR Ted Ginn Jr. recorded a catch rate of 88.2 percent and a perfect receiver rating of 158.3 against press coverage in 2017, according to Pro Football Focus. Both marks were the best in the league among receivers who finished with at least 10 targets.
Footballguys View: Last season did see a drop in targets from 95 to 70, but he still managed over 700 yards and four touchdowns, increasing his yards per catch average by a full yard, though still below his career high of 16.8 in 2015. He caught almost as many balls on less targets last year too, which will happen when Drew Brees becomes your quarterback. The downside is we expect him to lose some snaps to Cameron Meredith and Tre’Quan Smith. His ADP is 61 right now, and we expect it to hold there.
