Undrafted free-agent RB Trey Edmunds (Maryland) signed with the New Orleans Saints Monday, May 15. Terms of the contract were not disclosed.

Footballguys View: Edmunds measures in at 6’2″ 233 pounds and is tough to bring down when he builds a head of steam. He participated in the Saints minicamp after five years in college, four at Virginia Tech and one as a graduate transfer at Maryland. With Mark Ingram, Adrian Peterson and Alvin Kamara stacked atop the depth chart, it’s going to be tough for any runner behind those three to have much fantasy value in 2017.
