San Francisco 49ers arrive in New Orleans for Super Bowl XLVII

The San Francisco 49ers are technically the home team in Super Bowl XLVII, so it makes sense that they arrived Sunday in New Orleans before the Baltimore Ravens (who are scheduled to fly into “The Big Easy” on Monday). Niners players, staff and family members landed at Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport at 6:56 p.m. local time ready to embark on a week of preparations for the biggest game of their lives. If the 49ers are nervous, it certainly didn’t show as they made their way off the plane and onto the tarmac in New Orleans. Filed under: Super Bowl Tagged: Super Bowl XLVII
