The Seattle Seahawks released WR Mike X. Williams Friday, July 13, and as always in the NFL, it was mostly a business decision. Williams’ contract included base salaries of $3 million and $3.4 million in 2012 and 2013, plus $150,000 annual weight clauses. In addition, Williams was also due a $15,625 roster bonus for every game he was active for a total of $187,500, plus a $150,000 workout bonus.
