Seattle Seahawks RBs Thomas Rawls, Christine Michael and C.J. Prosise could be called on early and often in 2016, according to WR Doug Baldwin. Baldwin said the Seahawks are going to go back to the run game and not pass as much this season.
Footballguys View: The Seahawks certainly emphasized the RB position in the draft by taking three players at the position. Prosise was the first of the three backs they selected, and he’s a good all-purpose back who is still learning the position after starting his college career at Notre Dame as a WR. Alex Collins (Arkansas) was the team’s choice in the fifth round, and we like his one-cut style, power and ability to get to the second level of the defense. Seventh-round pick Zac Brooks has good measurables but may need some development on the practice squad. Fantasy owners need to note the glut of RBs in Seattle and how that could negatively impact the production of Rawls at the top of the depth chart.
