Seattle Seahawks RB Rashaad Penny signed his four-year rookie deal on Wednesday, May 16.
Footballguys View: Behind Saquan Barkley (Giants), Penny may be the best all-purpose back in this draft. At 220 pounds, Penny has the size to handle a big workload. He can run between the tackles but isn’t a traditional bulldozer inside. Penny instead is a fluid runner who can string together multiple moves to create his own space. He’s also a good receiver out of the backfield. After having a mess of a backfield for a couple of years, the Seahawks are hoping Penny can be their centerpiece at the position. Fantasy owners are drafting Penny at RB27 (6.07) in 12-team PPR leagues.
