Free-agent CB Byron Maxwell (Seahawks) agreed to terms on a one-year contract worth up to $3 million with the Seattle Seahawks on Friday, April 27.

Footballguys View: Re-signing Maxwell isn’t going to make up for losing Richard Sherman permanently (Maxwell replaced him when Sherman was injured last season), but the Seahawks seem content to move on with lesser guys for a better price. Maxwell did OK last year so it won’t be a disaster.
