Pittsburgh Steelers OT Mike X. Adams (stomach) was stabbed during a robbery attempt Saturday, June 1, but is expected to make a full recovery from his injuries. Adams was apparently attacked by three assailants who were attempting to steal his truck.

Our View: Adams was lucky this incident didn’t turn out a lot worse. He has no life threatening injuries and is likely to miss six weeks as he recovers. Adams should be ready to go by the start of training camp.
