The Houston Texans are believed to be close to hiring Penn State head coach Bill O’Brien for their head coaching position and a deal is expected to be made in the next 24 hours.

Footballguys View: This deal has been in the works for some time now. The Texans looked into adding Lovie Smith, or promoting Wade Phillips but in the end it looks like O’Brien is their guy.
