Texans | Bill O’Brien contract terms

The Houston Texans have agreed to an undisclosed five-year deal with new head coach Bill O’Brien. O’Brien was an assistant for the New England Patriots from 2007 to 2011 and was the offensive coordinator for the team when they lost to the New York Giants in Super Bowl XLVI. It’s unknown if interim head coach Wade Phillips will be retained by O’Brien.
