The Houston Texans will hire former Kansas City Chiefs head coach Romeo Crennel as their defensive coordinator next week.

Footballguys View: This move was expected for a while now. Crennel was coaching at the Shrine Game this week, and will lead the West team on Saturday. He’s a quality defensive coordinator, but Crennel is not head coaching material.
