Louisiana Tech DT Vernon Butler worked out for the Houston Texans recently, according to a source.

Footballguys View: The Texans are always looking for more and more ways to continue improving the defense. Butler would be a nice addition though he is a bit undersized. He makes up for it a bit with a quick first step and could develop more tools with some time. He’s a third or fourth round pick worth their time.
