There were many great quarterbacks in the AFC during the 1970s with Terry Bradshw, Joe Namath and Ken Stabler. But it would be wrong to overlook Bert Jones who led the Baltimore Colts from 1973 to 1981. Jones’ best season came in 1976 when he led the NFL with 3,104 passing yards to go with 24 touchdowns and just nine interceptions as he earned the MVP award.
