Representatives from nine NFL teams — including the running backs coaches from the Arizona Cardinals (Stump Mitchell) and Philadelphia Eagles (Duce Staley) — were present at UNLV’s pro day on March 13 to watch nine players work out outdoors on FieldTurf. The player those running backs coaches were there to see was Tim Cornett (6-foot-0 1/8, 209 pounds). Cornett stood on his numbers from the NFL Scouting Combine in the 40-yard dash, broad jump, three-cone drill and shuttle runs (he was among the top performers in his position group in the 60-yard shuttle).
